Heaven in Her Arms was born from my desire to portray love that never lets go. The image of Mary holding Jesus has always moved me, not only because of the sorrow it carries, but because it reveals a love that remains present even through suffering. I chose the richness of blue and gold to symbolize heaven meeting human pain.
