The agony in the garden

Description

The Agony in the Garden When life feels overwhelming, remember, you are never carrying the cross alone. Inspired by Christ's prayer in Gethsemane, this artwork is a reminder that God doesn't always remove our trials, but He always gives us the strength to endure them. Let it be a daily encouragement to trust Him, even when the path ahead is difficult. Artist's Reflection: Before the Cross came the Garden. As Jesus prayed in agony, He asked if the cup could pass from Him. Yet instead of removing the suffering, the Father sent an angel to strengthen Him. That moment inspired this drawing. Through thousands of ballpoint pen strokes, I wanted to capture the contrast between human weakness and divine strength, the darkness of suffering pierced by the light of God's presence. My hope is that whenever you look at this artwork, you're reminded that God is with you in every trial, giving you the courage to carry the cross placed before you. "My grace is sufficient for you, for My power is made perfect in weakness." - 2 Corinthians 12:9 Dimensions: 21 x 29.7 cm Medium: Ballpen Year: 2024
